FILDA 2001

Close to 200 million dollars is the result of Luanda International Fair (FILDA) 18th edition business volume that ended on the 22nd of July, 2001 after eight days of goods and services promotion made by the national and foreign companies.

In Carlos Ferreira's opinion, the President of Expo-Angola, the increase in the figure, as compared to the 180 million dollars of the year 2000, shows the growing interest brought about throughout this annual event. "Most foreign and national correspondents also acknowledge significant changes in this edition. Just take a look at the public attendance", he emphasized and estimated an average of ten thousand visitors per day.

Furthermore, as a consequence of this growing interest, Mr. Ferreira revealed that, before the conclusion of this edition, foreign and national entrepreneurs for Filda 2002 had already requested half of the space.
