HISTORY
Business system Stankom, joint-stock company holds a leading position in the field of housing construction in Serbia. Stankom won that position by following its well-known slogan FOR BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE, entering the market of residential and office space with pre-defined and guaranteed conditions of sale, while ensuring high quality and speed of construction.
Stankom`s business philosophy was determined and enabled due to significant changes that had happened, at the end of eighties, in Yugoslavia, especially in the sphere of economic and property relations. The lucky encounter of builder and buyer of his products occurred in the new, more favourable economic conditions.
The market opened and apartment has become a commodity, which enabled to Živadin Mihailovic, the founder and owner of Stankom, by establishing the Stankom Corporation joint-stock company in 1990, start realization of everything that was repressed for decades, in the field of the organization of production and sale of apartments and office buildings.
Economic reasoning, which was based primarily on the imperative to protect maximally the capital of shareholders and to aim companies in the System towards the market in order to achieve the greatest profit, was a valid reason to transform Stankom Corporation into Stankom Holding joint-stock company at the end of December 1995. Stankom Holding joint-stock company, which operates as a joint stock company with 100% of private capital, in 2007, in accordance with the Law on economic entities, was transformed in the Stankom business system, joint-stock company.
A number of business, ie building ventures of Business system STANKOM have been crowned with significant prizes and recognition. President of System, Zivadin Mihailovic, was named for the Yu-manager of 1993 in the category of companies with mixed ownership. In early October 2006, on ceremony held in Madrid, Stankom Business System was awarded the prestigious international award for civil engineering ''New millennium''. This recognition is awarded by a reputable publishing house “Editorial office'', whose Club of leading businessmen gatheres more than 7,000 members from 120 countries. On Real estate and investment fair, held in Belgrade in 2006, the project “Naseljski park”, which is being built by Stankom in the settlement Filmski Grad, received the award in the category of commercial facilities, and the same project won first prize for urban planning in the October Salon of Architecture.
Settlements, that Stankom has already built and which are being built, are designed and realized so as to represent the rounded urban complex which, to its users, not only provides comfortable accommodation but also living by European standards.
The settlements are shaped as integral units with distinct identity, man-made and ready to respond to any new need.
The apartments are designed to provide maximum functionality and space utilization, as well as a high degree of flexibility, which leaves the customer the possibility of personal choice about home organization.
Also, Stankom is the initiator and implementer of complete spatial planning of the locations where building and what was once an absolute novelty, it takes care of further organization and maintenance of these spaces.
Be at least a step ahead of the others, always offer something new and perfect already existing, it is the imperative that in Stankom has no alternative. Thus, Stankom was the first to introduce a fixed cost of apartments which, at the same time, are not sold before their construction begins. Also, by good organization of construction and the use of most hidden internal reserves, the building of apartmants is reduced to twelve months, which not so long ago was unthinkable.
Here begins the story of Stankom`s most precious resource - the staff who successfully implements set standards and goals, constantly moving them to new limits.
From idea to its realization we go established road - we know who traces and maintains the business policy, who coordinates the works, who is the direct perpetrator. . . Practice, as indispensable criterion, clearly confirmed the validity and effectiveness of such a determination.
Certificate of Stankom`s building orientation represents the "Sunshine slope" one of Belgrade's most beautiful residential - commercial settlements, built on a ravine of a wild stream. It was also built a modern shopping centre, sports facilities, parks and squares.
What Stankom has done so far is most visible on the sunlit slopes of the Belgrade municipality Cukarica, headquarters and primary space of Stankom`s action. More than 30.000 people have found a residence there. More than 7.000 families moved in whith more than 7.000 apartments built overthere. An entire city has been created, new and modern, with approximately 150,000 m2 of office and 14,000 m2 of garage space, built on a simple, very human idea.

Using the same pattern Stankom implements so far most ambitious project - a settlement "Filmski Grad". It is a settlement with 3700 apartments and 170 units of office space. It is located on the edges of Kosutnjak, one of the most beautiful hills in Belgrade. In the mid-1993, this, the youngest city in the country got its first inhabitants, and since thane it is constantly enriched by new tenants.

PROJECTS
STANKOM CITY DIAGNOSTIC CENTER
The diagnostic centre will be built in the Filmski grad, in the Street of Dimitrije Avramovic. As for architecture and facilities, it will be the centre where will be applied the most advanced medical methods and modern medical appliances in neurological, dental, cardiology, gynaecological and other practices.
In a very pleasant environment it will be built facility of an area of about 2000 m2, which is sufficient to optimally utilize all the planed facilities, intended for patients.
STANKOM BUILDS CARE HOME FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
In the Filmski grad neighbourhood, in the street Ratko Mitrovic, it will be built a Care home for senior citizens that will be the placed in a location where, with the latest architectural solutions and the same state-of-art facilities, our oldest citizens can in a dignified way spend their "third age".
It is well known the fact that Belgrade, for decades, has the chronic lack of space in homes for the elderly. The construction of this home, of an area of about 5700 m2, will significantly improve the situation when it comes to placement of our oldest citizens.
NASELJSKI PARK
At the Real estate and investment fair, held in Belgrade from 2-4 November this year, the project Naseljski Park, which is built by a Business system in the settlement of Filmski Grad, received the award in the category of commercial facilities, and on October Salon architectural project won first prize for urban planning. The author of this project is the architect Mirjana Petrovic Balugdžic
Park is built on an area of 4.3 hectares, as for the facilities there will be built outdoor sports facilities for small sports, space for children, play, walk and stay in the nature. Also, it will be built and tennis courts surrounded by greenery, the square where the attractive shops , as well as the forest that will complement the natural environment and round a unity which, with reason, will become the centre of the whole settlement where children and their parents will gather, socialize and have fun.
SUNCANA PADINA
A PARK IN THE VALLEY OF REPIŠKI STREEM
By adopting a regulatory plan of Repiški stream, in May 2007, finally were created all the conditions to realize another Stankom`s extraordinary project. It is a park in the valley of Repiški stream in the centre of Suncana Padina, one of the most beautiful parts of Belgrade.

By registering in the Register of economic entities, on March, 3rd 2005, MM Engineering, Ltd. started to work.
Core activities of the company are building residential and other buildings, conduction of rough building works and specific civil engineering works, construction works, finishing works in construction, rental of equipment for construction or demolition, development of the of real estate, buying, selling and renting real estate.
The Company is also engaged in spatial planning, designing of construction and other facilities, engineering and other architectural and engineering activities, as well as technical advice.
"MM Engineering" in cooperation with VOLKSBANK implements a program of project financing of real estate designed for market. The bank, in order to encourage sales, grants housing loans to individuals at very favourable terms, as well as loans to legal entities and entrepreneurs to purchase business space.
