TRANSCO S.A is an incorporated (INC) company with a capital of 1.000.000.000 Guinean Francs. It was founded on October 12th, 1987, with headquarters in Conakry at the Immeuble Siguiri, Cité Chemin de Fer. TRANSCO is under the supervision and control of the Ministry of Transport and is specialized in caretaking of steamers, dealing with around 60 ships in average per year assisting them with consignment, handling, transit and transportation. Transco has, over the years, consistently been a reliable partner to over 30 enterprises. It is fast and efficient when it comes to dealing with documents. Management has a constant concern about transparency and integrity in its procedures.

Location

The company's headquarters are in Conakry's Centre, where management is located, as well as its logistics unit. There are two offices at the Port Area and a 5,000 ton storage warehouse inside the Autonomous Port of Conakry.

Logistics

TRANSCO S.A assures practical, efficient logistics, in conformity with each client's specific needs. For short or long term storage, TRANSCO S.A puts at your disposal an area comprising 1,650 m of warehouse under customs authority, 4,300 m of a fenced earth platform and a warehouse of 2,000 m outside.

Transport

TRANSCO S.A is able to reach overland all four provinces in Guinea as well as neighbouring countries: Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal.
TRANSCO can carry out delivery operations as well by road, sea or as by air in some interlocked areas.

Stock management

Stock management is carried out in real time; the recording of entries, exits, restocking is done through a computerized system.

Shipping and Stevedoring Agent

TRANSCO is a shipping agent for more than 60 tramp ships per year and it is also the representative of regular shipping lines.

Clearing and Forwarding

TRANSCO S.A carries out clearing and forwarding activities as an agent specialized in air, ocean and inland freight forwarding.
