Please tell us about your achievements as Italian Ambassador to Bucharest since the start of your mandate?

I started my mandate in August 2008. It was a very challenging post for me since I have been working for seven years as a diplomatic advisor to the Italian Minister of Foreign Trade. The Minister of Foreign Affairs considered that my appointment here would be a suitable one. Bilateral relations between Italy and Romania are mainly characterized by a strong economic tie.
