Sorek Services Limited

This Company acts as Company-Managers for Offshore Tax Exempt Companies as well as Registration-Agents for Ship owners registering their Vessels in Gibraltar, either on Bareboat Charter or a permanent basis.

Sorek has been a member of Bimco since 1982 and has been on the Council of The Gibraltar Shipping Association since 1985.

The Company is licensed for its activities by the Financial Services Commission.

Offshore Company Formation and Services
Sorek Services specializes in incorporating tax-exempt companies on behalf of its clients and under the Companies Ordinance of 1930.

Sorek Services will apply for an Exemption Certificate on your behalf and once the Certificate is granted it will remain in force for 25 years from the date of issue on the proviso that the Company complies with the necessary requirements. The Capital of the Company can be designated in any currency.

Company Formation – A Quick and Economical Service
Gibraltar law is based on English law. The procedure for Company formation is basically taken from the English 1929 Companies Act. The average time taken to complete all formalities is three days. Sorek Services offers a comprehensive service at a competitive cost.

Haven Industrial and Marine Suppliers Ltd (HIMS) is most commonly known for its Technical Support and Surveys, but we would like to remind you, that HIMS is constantly developing its survey, Calibration and Certification Department, aiming to provide a fast and efficient service, which is paramount when servicing the Maritime Industry.

We aim for the turn-around-time (for individual units) to be within one working day, and we provide a 7 day / 24 hour service where and when needed, saving you from loss of business. HIMS recognises and adapts to ship-operators needs and legislation, and has accordingly been rewarded with Survey and Calibration jobs for quality ship-owners worldwide.

Aside from its core services, led by Managing Director Sorensen, the Sorek Group is also committed humanitarian efforts. Most recently the Sorek Group has contributed both time and money in assisting the tsunami victims of South Asia through The Manacare Foundation (www.manacare.org).

The Manacare Foundation was formed in 1994 by Mrs. Joy Butler Markham with the aim of promoting peace, goodwill and cross-cultural cooperation.The foundation is supported by corporate donations such as those made by the Sorek Group, as well as by a dedicated group of volunteers working around the world. The Manacare Foundation has done projects in almost every corner of the world from Lithuania to Eygpt to Serbia, South Africa and Chile.
