The Senegambia Beach Hotel is situated on a delightful beach 30 km in length and flanked with palm trees. The hotel complex, which covers an area of 8 hectares, is under English-Speaking, European management. So you can be sure that everything possible will be done to make your stay a pleasurable one.

What is your pleasure?

A winter at the Senegambia beach hotel, with temperatures between 21 and 27 degrees, will quickly dispel all memories of the cold, wet climate back home. While basking in summer temperatures of around 30 degrees in a friendly holiday atmosphere you can reflect on the bleak concrete landscapes of those parts of the world you have chose to escape from.

The Senegambia beach hotel is located on a long, white sandy beach 5 km outside of Gambia's largest city, Serrekunda, and 20km from the city of Banjul. The main hotel building is surrounded by a well-maintained park landscape, 80,000 square meters in area. The restaurants and boutiques, the hotel lobby and terrace, the bar and discotheque form an inviting and pleasant atmosphere in which to meet your friends.

There are also boundless opportunities for sporty types: the program for active holiday makers ranges from tennis and squash through archery and volleyball and even to deep-sea angling.

Feeling adventurous?

Holidaymakers looking for adventure can take advantage of day trips or one week round trips discovery excursions. A bus leaving every Tuesday will take you into The Gambia and then on to neighboring Senegal, passing traditional villages and picturesque markets on the way.

Tropical rain forests and mangrove swamps, crocodiles and apes living freely in national parks and the unique abundance of bird life with more than 500 recognized species will leave you with an impression to last a lifetime.

Take a leisurely stroll around the markets, where you can buy attractive items of batik and African carved wood ornaments.

A small tip from us: don't forget the bargaining!!!!

Taste-bud delight!
