Throughout East and Central Africa, the EAFW group dominates the field of industrial spare-part requirement within the vast manufacturing sectors including transport, mining, agriculture and process industries.
Alloy Steel Castings Limited, a part of the EAFW group, is a steel foundry and machine shop established in 1990 to cater for the growing demand for both machined and as-cast steel castings in the global market.
Alloy Steel Castings Limited or ASC, as is commonly known, is situated on a 7-acre industrial plot with a built-up area of 40,000 square feet. ASC began commercial production during the second half of 199 0. Over the years, it has earned an enviable reputation as the only supplier in East African region for various specialized castings and machined components, satisfying customers both in terms of quality and delivery. ASC often works in conjunction with the clients in meeting quality standards to suit their local working conditions.

THE MACHINING FACILITY
EAFW group started as a small Engineering Machine Shop in 1972. It has grown today to have the largest machining facility within East and Central Africa. The facility of 102 machines include the following:
