Melting fuse links with reduced loses (cartridges):Types: FG, FGC, FM, FMC
| DESCRIPTION |
Melting fuse links (cartridges) of FG,FGC, FM and FMC types consist insulation steatite body, contact blades, calottes ,melting element, interruption indicator and arc extinguishing medium. Melting cartridges of FGC and FMC type have an impact needle for the remote activation indication instead of interruption indicator (except for the EOO and OO sizes)
| APPLICATION |
Melting cartridges of FG type are intended primarily for the cables and conductors protection against all kinds of faults that may occur in practice, including either the overload currents or short circuit currents. Melting cartridges of FM type are intended primarily for the motor circuit protection against overload and short circuit currents. For the reliable protection against low overload currents (4xIn).,these fuses are used in combination with other protection devices provided to interrupt such currents( e.g. thermal over current relays).
