Located on 5,000 picture-perfect acres in Jamaica's exclusive Rose Hall, the 427-room AAA Five Diamond Hotel offers the seclusion of a beachfront hideaway, complete with a 18-hole championship golf course and full service Spa. The hotel offers a variety of water sports and recreational activities, five dining outlets and more than 25,000 square feet of meeting and reception space. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Donald Sangster International Airport, The Ritz-Carlton Golf and Spa Resort brings a new level of luxury to the island nation of Jamaica.

Location

Just East of Montego Bay and Donald Sangster International Airport on the Northern coast of the island, the Rose Hall resort is ideally located. Taxi service is available and arrangements can be made for luxury coach or limousine service.

The resort enjoys tropical climates all year long, and has a variety of activities available to its guests. Other area attractions include:

  • The historical Rose Hall Great House, located just 5 minutes from the resort
  • The famous Blue Lagoon, located several hours
  • The Martha Brae River, which provides rafting adventures, located a half hour away.
  • Dunns River Falls and Park, located 1.5 hours from the resort, has beautiful terraced cascades that can be enjoyed by all.

  • Mango’s

A variety of traditional American, Caribbean and International dishes are served poolside overlooking the ocean, including sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit plates, light snack and tropical drinks. Continental breakfast and lunch are available.   • Horizon’s Restaurant and Lounge

Tantalizing breakfast buffets are offered daily, in addition to an a-la-carte menu, from 7:00 to 11:30 a.m. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. In the evening, a selection of creative international dishes with Jamaican and Asian influences are available. Healthy light selections are also offered. Dinner is served daily from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Live entertainment is featured.

  • Jasmines

The Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort boasts a unique new dining concept in the 50-seat restaurant, Jasmines. The restaurant features “Jasian” cuisine, a combination of Jamaican ingredients cooked with Asian techniques, and artistically presented. Examples include the chicken coconut milk soup served in hollow coconut shell and a chicken satay. Jasmines was voted “Best Service Restaurant” in Jamaica and named to Conde Nast Traveler’s Top 100 New Restaurants Hot List.

  • Cohoba’s

Enjoy an exclusive blend of Jamaican Blue Mountain and Ritz-Carlton signature coffee indoors or on the resort’s expansive lobby terrace overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Traditional Afternoon Tea service is offered daily and complemented by live classical piano music.
As the sun sets over the ocean, we invite guests to start their evenings with a rim tasting session and discover the complexity and subtlety of the Caribbean’s finest spirits. After dinner, an irresistible selection of desserts and soufflés are offered, as well as a premium selection of cordials and cigars.

  • The White Witch Club House

Set atop the winding green hills of the resort’s 18-hole championship golf course, diners enjoy elevated panoramic views of Jamaica’s mountainous countryside and turquoise-blue waters. Light lunch and cocktails are offered daily. The White Witch Club House is located five minutes from the resort, and complimentary shuttle service to and from the hotel is offered.

  • Reggae Jerk Center

Located on the west beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Reggae Jerk serves up seasoned jerk pork, chicken and fish. Traditional Jamaican dishes such as festivals, bammy, roasted breadfruit, roasted yam, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob and other specialties accompany the jerk selections. The rustic open-air setting invites guests to relax and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of the Caribbean, complete with reggae music to provide the island beat.

  • In-Room Dining

Whether starting the day with a sunrise breakfast or enjoying a romantic dinner, private guestroom balconies provide the ideal setting to enjoy gourmet cuisine. A variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night dining options are offered 24-hours a day.

Activities and Leisure

  • Golf

The White Witch 18-hole golf course is located five minutes from the resort and designed by Robert von Hagge. This course has become one of the finest courses in the Caribbean, if not the world. From the clubhouse, which is situated atop the mountains, the course winds up, down and around the mountainous countryside. Spectacular views of the sea are visible from 16 of the course’s 18 holes. This golfing experience is one of the most challenging and unique.

  • Spa and Treatment Center

The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Rose Hall, Jamaica is an 8,000 square foot wellness haven infused with inspirations from Jamaica's lush West Indies environs. Elegant mahogany furnishings, cool Caribbean colors and relaxing island sounds envelope guests in tropical luxuriousness, while signature treatments and therapies relax the mind and soothe the body.
A unique selection of massage therapies; hydrotherapies; mineralizing and detoxifying therapies; and skin, hair and nail care services are offered in the Spa's 11 private treatments rooms. A fully-equipped Fitness Center, sauna, steam room, and relaxation lounge enhance comfort and rejuvenation.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa is located on the resort's lobby level, adjacent to The Gift Shop. The Spa is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.daily. Guests can reach The Spa by calling (876) 953-2800. Spa appointments can also be made online.

  • Recreation

In addition to the on-site Spa and Fitness Center and tennis facilities, non-motorized water-sports equipment is available at the resort’s private beach. For those guests wishing to enjoy motorized water-sports activities, the Rose Hall Beach Club is located just five minutes from the resort. Here, a complete selection of equipment is available, including jet skis and wave runners.
A wide variety of activities are also in close proximity to the hotel. An equestrian center offering guided rides through the mountains and along the coast is five minutes away. A guided tour of the Rose Hall Great House may also be arranged. Finally, guests may also enjoy rafting on the Martha Brae River, scuba diving, snorkeling or sailing. The magnificent Dunns River Falls is 90 minutes away.

  • Ritz Kids

Young guests can appreciate the fun-filled Ritz Kids activities program. Supervised counselors oversee a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including arts and crafts, “making sandcastles” and storytelling.
The resort’s children’s menu features a selection of popular favorites for young guests, including hamburgers, pizza and ice cream sundaes.

Conference Center

The resort offers over 25,000 square feet of carefully, elegantly decorated indoor and outdoor space to provide you the ideal conditions to hold any type of conference, meeting, ceremony or recreational even that you may wish to hold on the premises. The following are the main conference areas:
