Could you tell us about the major steps in your professional career and how you ended up being the president of Suriname Airways?
That’s a pretty long story. After my education I started at KPMG Suriname, where I worked for nine years. In 1984, Suriname Airways was hiring for a management position, for which I applied. In that same year, I was offered a position at KPMG in the Netherlands, but my love for my country made me decide to go with Suriname Airways.
