ACTIVITIES |
The diversity of Djibouti’s landscape comes to life the
moment your planet begins its descent and promises a long list
of things to do.
Djibouti
is famous for having some of the best marine life in the world,
boasting about 20 amazing spots: over 140 species of corals, dolphins,
as well as the whale sharks.
The
entire coastline is fringed by corals and turquoise waters and
opportunities for swimming, snorkeling or pure relaxation on powder-soft
sands.
There
are great opportunities for island-hopping between Moucha, Maskali,
Sable Blanc and Sept Freres islands.
You
will also find breathtaking natural wonders and various excursions
will introduce you to Lake Assal, one of the wonders of Djibouti,
a beautiful salt glacier creped up the banks, leaving an impression
of freshly fallen snow. It is the world's third largest salt water
lake and the continent's lowest point 150 meters below sea level.
Another
remarkable place to see is the Open Air Fault, a rare geological
phenomenon!
The
whole Horn of Africa is gradually splitting away from the African
Continent and visitors can take a walk on Djibouti faults already
separated by a meter or more. This huge break is pushing African
Arabia closer to Europe.
Sand Yachting in the Desert is one experience not to be missed,
the grace of sand yachting along the Grand Bara desert which turns
occasionally into a lake during the rainy season, is a unique
way to adventure the country's cultural highlights.
Leisure:
There are
great possibilities for expanding the business in several segments:
