History

Trasacco Estates Development Company (TEDC) is a design and build company incorporated in Ghana in October 1999.

It is a family business with three shareholders, Ernesto Taricone (Chairman), Cinzia Taricone Morris (Sales & Marketing Director), Ian Morris (Managing Director)

Vision

The company was created to exploit the untapped market of luxury residential development in Ghana.

TEDC is a member of a group of companies primarily based in the manufacturing and construction sectors, with established roots in Ghana dating back to the 1970s – more than thirty years of unbridled service in the industry. The companies are committed to excellence. Each company within the group is recognized as one of the market leaders within its sector.

Competitive advantages

As part of such a group, TEDC is in an advantageous and unique position to control the quality and deliverability of over 70% of all products it uses from the land acquired to blocks, doors and windows. Anything that is not manufactured by the support group is imported from only reputable companies around the world. Another of its great strengths is its in-house team of professionals from architecture and engineering to construction and craftsmen to sales and marketing, ensuring flexibility and rapid ability to adapt to changes in the market.

The flagship development of TEDC is the birth of ‘Trasacco Valley’ – …where dream homes come true…- , undoubtedly the most prestigious property development and the finest quality residential development in the country. Trasacco Valley was created to fulfill a yet unfulfilled niche in the area of luxury property in Ghana.

According to the chairman of the company, Ernesto Taricone, the creation of Trasacco Valley was “based on principles of the Garden city, it is a reflection of my vision for beauty and uncompromising quest for quality. It is my vision of the ideal community”.

Trasacco Valley

Trasacco Valley is tucked in a 500 -acre green field site adjacent to the growing prestigious East Legon residential area and the Accra – Tema motorway and it is a serene enclave within minutes of Ghana’s capital, Accra, the airport and the port of Tema.

Villaggio

In addition, TEDC intends to commenced operations on ‘Villaggio’, a luxury apartment development, at another highly sought after site in Accra. The completion of ‘Villaggio and phase II of Trasacco Valley will firmly cement TEDC’s reputation as the highest quality turnkey developer in West Africa.

TEDC is a company in transition. Its flagship development, Trasacco Valley, is the fruition of three generations of family vision. However, TEDC has made a firm commitment to good corporate governance to ensure that it emerges as a powerful organization set to take on the challenges it achievements and reputation are starting to offer, not only in Ghana, but also in West Africa.
