LOCATION

Flic en Flac, on the west coast of the island, enjoys a privileged climate throughout the year and is sheltered from the trade winds during the southern hemisphere winter. It is a tiny fishing village set in the midst of a sugar plantation well away from the island’s busier resorts.

  • The hotel site is quite simply superb. It stands alongside a beautiful white sandy beach that stretches over several kilometers and lies at the heart of a 9-hectare tropical park. It is 30 minutes from Port Louis, the capital and 5 minutes from Flic en Flac.

  • It is one hour’s drive from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.

ROOMS

The 191 rooms and suites are set in several two-store buildings and in an Asian style:

Air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, satellite television, radio, safe, minibar, lounge area.
Bathroom with shower, hair dryer and separate lavatory.
A cot (child under 2) or child’s bed (under 12) may be placed in the parents’ room).
Maximum 1 child sharing a double room.

  • 48 ‘Superior’ rooms and 95 ‘De Luxe rooms of 50 m²
  • 5 ‘De Luxe’ suites of 100 m² and 1 ‘Presidential’ suite of 150 m² with a terrace.
  • 8 communicating rooms
  • The ‘Superior’ rooms are on the garden level and facing the sea.. The ‘De Luxe’ rooms feature a balcony and enjoy fine ocean views.
  • The recently built 42 ‘Imperial Garden’ suites are ideal for families. They are set in a haven of greenery, away from the main building and ensure great privacy. They can comfortably accommodate 4 guests and feature a bedroom and lounge with a double fold-down bed, a shower room, separate lavatory and a garden level terrace for the suites located on the ground floor and a spacious balcony for the suites on the upper floor with magnificent view of the exotic lush garden.

All the ‘De Luxe’ rooms and ‘Imperial Garden’ suites include additional services and facilities: bath robe and slippers, tea and coffee-maker, flowers and fresh fruit upon arrival, late check-out (up to 5pm).

RESTAURANTS & BARS

  • Fine dining at the poolside Le Ravinala restaurant with varied menus and theme buffets (Asian, Creole, Indian, Mediterranean, barbecue and seafood).
    • American breakfast buffet from 6am to 10am
    • Dinner from 7pm to 11.00 pm
    • Half-board dining every evening
  • The Tamassa Beach, is open from 7pm to 10.30pm and serves local cuisine.
  • Romantic Lobster dinners by the ocean, several time per week.(with supplement).
  • Le Ming Court overlooks the huge swimming pool and proposes Chinese cuisine every evening from 7pm to 10.30pm except Sunday.
  • Le Teppanyaki provides sparkling displays of fine Japanese cuisine. It is open every evening from 7pm to 10.30pm except Sunday. (With supplement ).
  • 1st service at 07.00 pm and 2nd service at 9.00 pm .
  • Le Tamassa restaurant-bar is open on the beach for salads, grills, local specialties, sandwiches and snacks every day 10am to 5pm. Bar open from 10am to midnight. Entertainment in the evening
  • Le Kestrel Indian-style bar is open by the pool. Piano music and entertainment on certain evenings..

ACTIVITIES & LEISURE

The Spa

  • The Spa at the Impérial is a true haven of peace and serene atmosphere vicinity .
  • It is dedicated to relaxation, health, beauty and your total well-being.
  • It features an oriental-style decor and this 1,000m²-complex features a Turkish bath, beauty centre with a range of body care, massages (Shiatsu, Thai, Imperial, aromatherapy etc.) in addition to other treatments such as yogurt and spice face masks, hydrotherapy and a hair salon.
  • Relaxation exercises and oriental arts (Tai Chi, Yoga). All Spa facilities are paying .
