Closed JSC "TeleRoss-Vladivostok"
is one of the leading companies in the telecom
services market in Primorsky Krai. It provides
telephone, data transmissions and Internet access
services to over 2,000 customers in the Primorsky
Krai region.

The company was established on the 14th of October
1994 as a joint Russian-American company "SFMT-Vladivostok"
(closed JSC). Its co-founders were OJSC "Electrosvyaz
of the Primorsky Krai", SFMT Inc", "SFIT"
(limited liability company). The co-founder, the
American company, "SFMT Inc" started
working in Russia in 1983.
"TeleRoss" started to create all Russian
networks of overlay satellite communication in
1994. Nowadays, it includes over 60 on-land stations
of different types. Vladivostok was the first
city in this network.
The network was built on the basis of fibre-optical
and satellite channels. The satellite network
is also used to connect customers in remote regions
and for reservations.
In 1998, the company was renamed the Closed JSC
"TeleRoss-Vladivostok".

services: |
Automatic digital domestic and international
long distance calls with the Instalment of new
city numbers, virtually in any district of the
city. Digital lines ensure excellent audibility,
communication stability, high accessibility and
instant connection. Installation of a new city
number with a possibility of direct access to
Moscow. This economical solution allows our customers
to talk to Moscow for an unlimited period of time
and for a fixed monthly fee. The company offers
access to domestic and international networks
to customers that have their telephones installed
and do not need

code passwords or through an operator.

High speed Internet access trough an assigned
channel from 64
kbit/second up to 2 and more Mbit/second.
For small companies, the company offers "Internet
+" services. It
allows to get a constant internet access through
a subscriber's telephone
line without engaging the phone number. "Internet
+" is not the only
way to get both internet access and phone calls
at the same time through the same telephone line
but it is relatively cheap. It is due to the fact
the
customer does not need to buy a subscriber set.
Golden Telecom provides this new solution allowing
the existing subscriber telephone line to have
constant internet access at speed of up to 115
kbit/second. If the telephone is engaged, the
speed goes down to 60 kbit/second. The access
speed switching is automatic when picking up/hanging
up. The subscriber's set is a small device. The
subscriber is connected directly through a consequent
PC port without any additional cards or modems.
For this purpose a standard modem cable can be
used.
"TeleRoss" offers its inexpensive "Internet
+" service both to small and
large companies.
Installation of corporate data transmission
networks on the base of
Frame Relay, TCP/IP, X.25 or clear channels, depending
on the
customer's needs.
For example, for large customers with high requirements
we organise a network on the base of assigned
or clear channels and for economy and large range
we offer TCP/IP.
Installations for financial institutions:
This means an access to Russian stock exchanges
and trading systems: The Moscow Interbank Currency
Exchange, the Russian Trading System (RTS), the
Moscow Stock Exchange, regional Stock Exchanges
in St-Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod,
Vladivostok, Samara; international System of inter
bank payments S.W.I.F.T; informational sources
Reuters, Dow Jones Telerate, Bloomberg; also the
Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the
State Customs Committee of the Russian Federation.
The company also connect up HTM's terminals and
other devices for credit cards verification centres.
