Hotel Hayat is a newly opened hotel, located in the very center of the Old Town of Sarajevo.
Within a few minutes of easy walk, visitors arrive to Bascarsija, which is considered to be the main street of Sarajevo and one of its most important landmarks. It was designed in Ottoman- Turkish style in the 16th century and it is loaded with souvenir shops and public fountains. It contains a bazaar that sells all kinds of metalwork, jewelry and pottery. Each street is dedicated to a different craft.
The hotel was opened in 2008. It has 35 cozy and pleasant rooms which offer an intimate and relaxing experience. Rooms are ideal for both business and pleasure. They were designed to provide comfort and functionality so that a guest's needs are served regardless of the purpose of the visit.

Hotel Hayat offers overnight with breakfast. The restaurant with 60 seats can be used for organizing various occasions, including meals with traditional Bosnian cuisine or any other sort of food. Hotel Hayat's exquisite location gives you possibility to arrive downtown in just a few minutes on foot and dine in some of the best town restaurants and choose the menu. If required, the hotel makes a reservation.
Our congress hall provides a stimulating atmosphere and accommodates up to 100 participants. Let our professional staff arrange all the necessary up-to-date audiovisual equipment and set up the hall to meet your needs so that you focus on your purpose. Choose the form: classroom, U-shape, theatre or banquet.
Upon a guest's request, we organize different tours and excursions; provide a tour guide, rent-a-car with or without drivers and anything else a guest requires.
Although with very affordable prices, during low season we offer 30% discount for all visits, and in time of mid season we give 20% discount for every guest. Special prices are intended for group visits all year round.
So far, Hotel Hayat has accommodated and collaborated with the most significant town events such as Sarajevo Film Festival, Sarajevo Winter Festival, Mess (International Theatre Festival), Economy Olympics and others. We have also hosted teachers and students from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts as well as the members of the regional Rotary Club.
For those who prefer cheaper and simpler accommodation in the center of Sarajevo, we provide our hostel facilities, where each room is equipped with a shower, satellite TV, while breakfast, internet access, laundry service are available upon request. |
