Accommodation in Luanda is no longer a monopoly
of a handful of establishments. In the recent years,
Luanda has seen a plethora of new hotels emerge in
every district. As a result, service level has improved.
By the time we publish this book, the HCTA – Ho-
tel de Convenções de Talatona ***** was the best
option for accommodation in Luanda but the soon
opening of the Epic Sana Centre (www.sanahotels.
com) before the end of 2011 should hopefully pro-
vide the same quality standards downtown.
In the same category, the Intercontental is expected
to open next year. Services will include a casino and
