Opened in July 2011, very nicely set up in front of
Angola Telecom and nearby Hotel Presidente, the
Chitaka restaurant occupies a privileged spot with
2 spacious dining rooms. At lunch time, buffet of
simple Angolan food is available but you can also
choose the à la carte option from the VIP room. A
covered terrace that can be booked for private re-
ceptions and a large free parking complement the
offer. Gourmet store in prevision.

Jango Veleiro is a big restaurant-bar-club famous in
Luanda for being one of the very few to open 24/7.
Buffet al peso for lunch. On week-ends at night, it
gets very crowded as most guests leaving other
clubs drop in to finish the night.

Almost in front of Trópico hotel, the restaurant serves
essentially average Portuguese and Angolan food
and occupies a small terrasse. Portions are big and
prices very generous considering we are in Luanda.
If you have a chance, try the leitão.
