The Talatona Convention Hotel (HCTA) is receiving
enormous success with its idea to carry out the so-
called “Quarta-Feira Vínica” (Ash Wednesday wine
growing festival). This new initiative is being con-
verted into a point of reference in the gastronomi-
cal panorama of Luanda, given the great quality of
service and products that are offered at this event.
The hotel acts as a host, presenting the best wines
that have entered the Angolan market from various
places and of differing flavours, giving guests the
opportunity to get to know the most exclusive and
friendly ambient in the capital. The area is spacious,
with a capacity to welcome up to 60 guests who are
able to enjoy a night mixing with a privileged circle of
wine lovers and connoisseurs. Reservation is man-
datory.
The Quarta-Feira Vínica greets the fine-wine and
fine-dining lovers with a welcome cocktail in the
modern and elegant hotel ‘Brent’s Bar’, where the
guests can get to know each other and enter into
conversations before the meal.
After the cocktail, they are directed to the ‘La Piazza
del Forno’ restaurant where they are served a tast-
ing menu which always corresponds to the type of
house wine being offered that evening.
