The land law establishes a set of rights that individu-
als and companies may hold on land those rights
allow the holder to use the land according to the
government development plans and its needs. The
most common right on the land is the surface right
which is grant for a period of 60 years renewable and
the property right. The law also provides regulation
for the traditional communities’ right to land in order
to grant the use of the land for agricultural purposes.
