There are an important number of rivers in Angola: Chiloango, Congo, Cubango, Cunene, Okavango,
the most important being Cuanza, famous for its rich biodiversity and Zambezi, the fourth-longest river in
Africa with 2,574 km.

Fauna and flora is extremely diversified: the Welwitschia Mirabilis can only be found in Angola and Namib-
ia. The Palanca Negra (Hippotragus Niger Variani) is unique to Angola and is one of the national symbols.
Capoeira was brought to Brazil by captured slaves from Angola. The practice of this self-defense discipline
was disguised as recreational song and dance.
