The Internal Revenue Service (SRI) is a technical
and autonomous entity which is responsible for
collecting domestic taxes established by law through
the application of existing legislation. Its purpose is
to consolidate the tax culture in the country in order
to consistently increase voluntary compliance with
tax obligations by taxpayers.
Their compromise is to promote and enforce
compliance with tax obligations in the context of
ethical and legal principles, to ensure effective fund
to promote social cohesion.
Their aim is to be an institution that is trusted and
of social recognition for doing good to the country.
Doing good to the country because of their
transparency, modernity, closeness and re-
spect for the rights of citizens and taxpayers.
Doing good to the country because they have com-
petent staff, honest, committed and motivated.
Doing good to the country by the tax management,
significantly reducing evasion, avoidance and tax

The SRI has national coverage with offices in all
provinces.
The SRI is responsible for implementing the
