The city of San Miguel

country. It is known as the “Pearl of the East” for its

is one of the most famous of the region due to the
CARNAVAL DE SAN MIGUEL which is going to be
described later on. This carnival honors Nuestra
Señora de La Paz. It includes small concerts
throughout November and these celebrations finish
with the Carnival of San Miguel on the last Saturday
of November.
