to use the urban buses. Frequently they are robbed,

Safety
Considering that the country has a bad reputation
for its gangs, tourist zones and business areas are
very safe. There are high levels of murders in a few
locations, mainly among street gangs fighting for
territorial control, drugs or out of plain rivalry. Avoid
those zones and there shouldn´t be a problem.
