The METALLURGICAL INDUSTRIES COMPANY is a joint stock holding company working in ferrous and non-ferrous industries. The affiliated companies in the holding company undertake several activities in different production areas, particularly:
Steel products range: (iron and steel with their different forms-steel pipes with different types and sizes-steel alloyes)
Non-ferrous products-aluminium products-copper products-lead products-zinc products-All Evaporators.
Chemical products-coak and its subproducts and fertilizers.
Engineering products: Railways wagons and coaches and underground metro cars-electricity transmittion towers-steel structures for industrial and construction fixtures.

River and water transportation services
Affiliate companies are primarily state-owned companies which are slated for privatisation. The Metallurgical Industries Co. is therefore responsible for the transition of these companies, which involves their restructuring, merging, and eventual sale on a tender basis.
