The International association for the protection of the whale, Megaptera is installed on the site of Lodge. The period of the whales lasts from June to October.
Princesse Bora Lodge proposes a unique safari regarding whale of Madagascar
In company of scientists, you will use a boat to go meet the humpback whales.
The Eco-guide specialist who come with you will answer at all of your questions, during and after your safari whales.
You will take an active part by observing the Cetacea which come to reproduce and put at the world small whale-calves at some encablures of the coasts
The boat will approach those enormous Cetacea laterally not to frighten them. Once arrived at approximately 100 meters of the whales, the boat will stop and turns off its engines.
At this time the observation begins.
The whales approach intrigued while passing under the hull and by making rotations on them selves offering the opportunity to observe them and to take pictures of them
The evening come after one day from sea, you will exchange with the scientists your observations.
Your observations (sounds, behaviours, description) will be analysed, studied and filed in a world bank of data in order to know better those animals so close to human.
