The old Chinese proverb ' Give a man a fish you will feed him for one day. Teach a man to fish you will feed him for life' is the cornerstone of the association's philosophy. Les Amis d'Anjajavy target various sectors including: fishing (purchase of a pirogue, nets and fish drying equipment), farming (purchase of zebus, seeds and fertilizer) , apiculture (bee hives), cattle raising (sheep and zebus), craft, trade, transport (purchase of sail pirogues to facilitate commerce with Majunga).
