Carnet is the business area which specializes on routing and processing of electronic payment transactions generated in the point-of-sale terminals of the affiliated business.

We accept any card in all point-of-sale terminals of our Client Banks, we offer unique services and we have developed specialized methods of authorization and Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).

Some of our products are

UNICAJA AND MULTICAJA

· More than 50 thousand POS terminals of this kind are connected to Carnet.

· We have vertical applications of POS terminals (retail, branch banks, restaurants, hotels).

· Specialized applications for banks that may require so.

MULTINET

· Allows firms to use their own technological devices by handling a wide range of communications protocols and message formats.

· It handles clearing schemes of Only Authorization or Authorization and Capture according to the commerce characteristics.

· Used extensively in retail store chains, telephonic sale centers, etc. due to its connection flexibility.

INTERREDES

· Direct host-to host links with the leading retail chains.

· Allows on-line transactions capture and settlement.

AUTOMATIC CHARGES

· To apply recurrent charges to credit cards.

· Cash deposit to the commerce on the following workday.

VOICE AUTHORIZATIONS

· More than 22 000 calls are attended every day.

MODULES OF CARNET ACQUIRER SYSTEM

A. SETTLEMENT AND CLEARING

· Total on-line consolidated process for all products and banks.

· National and International transaction exchange.

· Settlement schedules according to international practices.

B. ACQUIRER DATA BASE

· Unique database to handle store and POS terminals information.

· On-line access to all Client Banks.

· Exchange of business information between participant Banks.

C. TRANSACTION INQUIRY SYSTEM

· On-line consulting can be made 5 minutes after the transaction is completed.

· Stores all transactions made on the last 6 months.



Red interconnects and shares all the Automatic Teller Machines of the participant Banks (more than 16,000), enabling a bank client to access any teller of any institution.

· With complementary services such as "Stand-in" and "CVV" validation.
SETTLEMENT AND CLEARING

· Fully automated inter-bank office system.

· Operates under local and international rules.

"GATEWAY" TO INTERNATIONAL NETWORKS

· We connect local networks with the international brands Cirrus and Plus networks.

ATMs DRIVING (FRONT END)

· Direct connection service for dedicated-line tellers and the dial-up type.

· Year round monitoring 7 x24 covering more than 1,000 alarms. Automated reports.

INTER-BANK PRODUCTS

· Standardized Screens: Pre-established screens flow appearing when a bank client uses another institution ATM's.

· Balance Inquire. Cash withdrawal. Personal identification number (PIN) change.

· Generic Sale: application for the sale of products and/or services in automatic tellers, especially for prepayment.

· Inter-bank statement: enables users to consult balance, last 5 charges, last 5 payments and last 5 movements.

· Payment of services: with on-line validation, electronic processing for the commerce and receipt.

NEW PROSA PRODUCTS
 
Specialized business area in the development of new value-added products which enable the Client Banks to improve their operations, reduce costs and participate in vanguard markets and/or products:

PROALERTA

System of detection and prevention of frauds based on neural net technology and prediction models.

· Our solution is the most effective at national and international level (FALCON-HCN). Falcon protects more than 70% of the market, which represents more than 250 million cards.

· Each bank functions independently, allowing each Institution to establish its own strategy according to its needs.

· It works for credit and debit cards coming from Point of Sale Terminals, Automatic Tellers, Internet, etc.

PROCOMM

· Safe Internet commerce solution within international standards.

· SSL (Security Socket Layer) encrypts the purchaser's information to our system.

· SET (Security Electronic Transaction) encrypts the purchaser's information to our system and also validates the identity of the client and the commerce with certificates.

· The product has worldwide application.

PROINFO

- Strategic information system for making decisions based on Multidirectional Data Base Technology.

- On-line consultation and reports from the bank terminal.

- Contains business information about:

­ Acquirer

­ ATMs

­ Others, according to customers needs.

PROSMART

This product enables us to support and operate different kinds of smart cards (Chip Card).

- We take part with the following functions:

­ Add establishments to the single nationwide database.

­ Connectivity to Point-of-Sale terminals for Chip Cards.

­ Transference, clearing and settlement of transactions.

PROPAGO

· System that allows the users to receive and pay their statement via Internet.

· "Site" where the clients find all their balances in one place.

· System based on the "Bluegille" solution, used by the main suppliers of this service in the United States of America (Example: Check Free).

· The cost of statement sending is reduced in more than a 70% for the billing enterprises
