The Hotel is situated in the very center of the city Podgorica. It is at 12 km distance from the airport and 2 km from the bus and railroad stations.



The hotel is in four stars category. It was built in 1953. and renovated in 1986. It has 142 rooms and 7 apartments with a total of 290 beds. All rooms have mini bar, TV with satellite programs, Internet and room service.



Service part of the hotel has a total of 1000 seats in the restaurant, tavern, cafes, aperitif bar and night club. Four vast salons favourable for receptions and banquets with a total capacity of 300 seats give the hotel a particular value. These salons can be inter-connected into an auditorium with 750 seats, enabling the organization of symposiums and congresses.

In the summer months the guests have a splendid 1000 seats summer terrace available, surrounded by the green shrub of Karadjordje Park. Aside from f&b services, the hotel offers: a casino, gift-shop, hairdresser and others.

The UTIP Crna Gora DD includes tourism and trade enterprise and also hotel facilities: Crna Gora, Podgorica, Ljubovic and the travel agency "Crnagoratours". Aside the above mentioned activity, it goes in for export-import operations, including the domestic trade.

There are 420 employees. An overall revenue in the year 2000. was 10.000.000 (ten millions) DM. The modern trends are followed by the company in the hotel facilities as well, attending to rise the level of their offers to the better and enriches its offers by new contents.

SUPERSTRUCTURE AND REFURBISHING PROJECT OF THE HOTEL "CRNA GORA" - PODGORICA

It is necessary to refurbish, build additional storeys and modernise the existing hotel "CRNA GORA" in order to satisfy conditions required for the "LUX" category hotels.

A - ACCOMMODATION

1. Existing accommodation capacity should be expanded by building additional storeys (wings "A" and "B") and by using the space currently occupied by the hotel Management, in order to get more available beds.

2. In addition to existing suites, it is necessary to plan an appropriate number of presidential suites per one floor. Total accommodation capacity and its structure shall be defined upon checking of construction system of the existing building.

3. Existing accommodation capacities should be refurbished and equipped up to the level of LUX category.

B - CATERING - DEPARTMENTS

4. In terms of interior, the entrance hall with reception should be improved.

5. Existing aperitif bar should be redecorated and arranged to be at department of the hotel guests.

6. Restaurant should be redecorated and number of seats increased on the account of garden.

7. Conference rooms interior should be provided with small bars where possible.

C - DEPARTMENTS - RECREATION

8. Indoor swimming pool with a sliding roof opening during summer months.

9. In addition to the swimming pool, the following should be provided:

16. Summer garden - unused space of the existing garden, to be arranged as summer garden with all pertaining accessories.

17. Coffee bar, examine the possibility to divide the existing space to be used for different purposes, including the possibility of its opening towards the Slobode street.

18. Check the possibility of providing a TV room for guests of the hotel including the English/peaceful/ hall.
D - INSTALLATIONS

The following should be provided in the hotel:

20. High and low voltage electric power/telephony, signalling, normal and satellite TV, loudspeaker system, etc./ -plumbing equipment, cold and hot water pipes and fittings, hydro-pumps, one day water reservoir. To keep solar collectors for water heating.

PROGRAMME OF ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING PROJECT UTIP "CRNA GORA" PODGORICA

Location of the future administrative building should be behind the "CRNA GORA" hotel in the Vuka Karadzica street.

Town-planning-technical requirements shall be provided by the authorised department of the Municipal Assembly of Podgorica, based on conceptual design of the building.

The designer should take care to provide the rooms and communications for the following departments:

To the above stated area it is necessary to add 30% for communications, staircases, corridors, toilets, etc.
Departments referred to, under the numbers 1, 2 and 3, should be located in the ground floor of the building.

Department referred to under the number 5, should be located on the first floor.

Department referred to under the number 4, should be located on the second floor.

Basement area should be used for placing installations, air
conditioning equipment, hydro-pump, store rooms for small equipment,
stationery and spare parts for car pool. The remaining part of basement area should be left for future defined purposes.

This project should provide communication between the administrative building and the "CRNA GORA" hotel, on the first floor if possible.
