Internet CG is the first and the biggest ISP in Montenegro. The company was established on August 26th, 1997.
Internet CG is organized in 3 departments:

Internet CG consists of experts specialized in different fields, available to provide the complete solution for Internet connections. We employ young, skilled and highly motivated employees, including a team of specialized engineers.
During four years of company we have more than 15000 dial-up users and 53 leased line users. Among them there are almost all business and administrative subjects such as Government of Montenegro, Telekom Montenegro, University of Montenegro, Post of Montenegro, Port of Bar, Jugopetrol, Jugooceania, Montenegro Airlines as well as many foreign companies and organizations (UNICEF, WFP, BIC, World Vision and the Soros Foundation, for example).
Internet Crna Gora has 12 POP points with 900 lines all over Montenegro. With link of 8 Mb/s along with all above we are among the greatest ISPs in Yugoslavia. The current hardware platform is based on high quality components supplied by established market leaders such as Cisco, 3Com, Telindus, RAD and Zyxel, Compaq, Digital and Dell.
With a high quality technical infrastructure and internet penetration rate of 2.5% in Montenegro, there is strong potential for future growth.

Basically we are Internet Provider and we have our system that is maintained and developed by our team.
We developed our billing and accounting system for administration of our main users database, and mail server of Internet CG. The capacity of these systems is projected for serving ten times more requests than the current situation demands. These systems shows that we can cope with any project related to Unix programming and administration.
Also the Software Department is specialized in web programming. This is great solution for systems having many clients who are working on different platforms and are geographically spread. For these projects we use both Microsoft and Unix derived tools.
We developed several software applications for both GSM operatosr ProMonte and Monet, News agency Montenafax and we realised administration system for Web edition of daily newspaper "Vijesti". It is written in PHP and uses MS SQL Server database what allows entire edition to be updated in half an hour from any location.
We are very proud of developing booking system of National Air Company - Montenegro Airlines. It allows access through Web browser from the company's intranet. This allows all foreign agencies and offices to book and sell tickets remotely. Besides that we also developed billing accounting and tariff subsystems all in the same technology. Functionality of entire system has been confirmed through two years of successful use.
We are implementing post paid and ADSL system in cooperation with Telekom Montenegro. These services will be fully available for our customers in the first half of 2002, and we predict that on this way could increase a number of subscribers through different kind of services and tariff structures. Also we are developing custom pre paid system, which will allow managing their Internet accounts without depending on our sales departments. Our plan is developing booking system for our tourist bourse, what will facilitate vacation of potential visitors. |
