AREA CODES CHANGE
For Caracas and the interior of the country
Starting the 20th of January of 2001, according to the National Numeration Plan emitted by CONATEL, All area codes of Venezuela will change progressively. This change will include both Cantv clients as well as the clients of other companies with active telecommunication services.
To make calls to the interior of the country you will have to dial a 2 before the usual area code, as following:
