PROJECT PORTFOLIO (PRIORITY PROJECTS) |
ECONOMY |
Get started with the construction plans, maintenance and equipment of the infrastructure projects in the State of Bolivar, taking in account the needs of every municipality.
Check the project portfolio of FIDES and the Multilateral Bank, for updating and possible changes that will serve to complement with the programs of decentralization of infrastructure and services.
Rehabilitate and maintain the systems of roads of the State, taking advantage of the financial existing resources in the national, international, state and local organizations.
Evaluate the construction of new roads within the strategic frame of regional development.
Establish a rehabilitation plan of the agricultural system in accordance with its production and population.
Have a Cover and modernization plan of the systems of communication started in the State.
Foment and support the farming of cattle rising, milk production, fishing, bird raising, and raising of non-traditional species to guarantee the food security of the State.
Finance micro agricultural companies in strategic rubrics, through financial organizations of the State.
Establish storing centers that will guarantee the reception of crops and certain products and sub products markets.
Promote the necessary legal actions so that public institutions like the IAN will legalize the use and enjoyment of the land, so the farming sectors will exploit them or they will be constituted as credit guarantees.
Built basic road systems services in the farming sectors, as well as watering systems to allow minimization in the periods of drought.
Promote a state legislation that will allow the State Government to delimit the environment, legal competence, judicial management, and decision-making in the manners of mining exploitation and development of the State. Check and improve the mining plan of the State of Bolivar.
Create and put into operation the Regional Mining Council.

Improve and maintain the educational sectors, and watch for the obligatory education at all levels, to foment knowledge to all the inhabitants of the State.
Have cultural plans started in coordination with municipal governments, the private companies and non-governmental organizations through the creation of Regional Cultural Council.
Commit to integral plans and programs for the improvement of systems of health quality in the State.
Begin an integration plan for the security force of the State, giving priority to the intelligence labor, and guarantee liberty and security for the citizens, so they will enjoy their constitutional rights and guarantees.
Integrate and reinforce sport and neighbors associations, as well as regional and municipal petitions for the development of sports and all its manifestations through an agreement with the private companies and the public authority.

Promote the effective participation and communication among the regional players and the rest of the country.
Trigger a management model that will allow exchange between the regional and municipal government, private companies and non-governmental organizations, through a participant and representative structure.
Rescue the government ability principle, developing a system that will offer a credible and authorized government.
Create a control system about the fulfillment of Public Institutions that include fiscal and information mechanisms about that performance.
TERRITORIAL |

Operate a Consolidation plan for the necessary infrastructure in the key populated towns of the frontier (Tumeremo, San Martin de Turumban, Bochinche, Santa Elena de Uairen, Icabaru, Las Claritas, El Pauji y Caicara del Orinoco), specially designed for the characteristics and circumstances of that zone.
Guarantee through a National, State, and Municipal Legislation, the environmental matter and how its resources are handled, such as: water, air, floor, flora and fauna, with the intention of preserving a harmonious economical activity in the State.
TOURISM IN BOLIVAR STATE |

The State of Bolivar is the most spacious state of Venezuela and possesses innumerable natural, cultural and historic attractions. With 238 888 square meters it represents one fourth of Venezuelan total territory. It presents tourists and visitors alike the different touristy sites for the most demanding and diverse tastes.

Historic Tourism
In "Ciudad Bolivar", the City of Bolivar, capital of the State, whose center was declared Historical National Monument due to the peculiar characteristics and events that took place in the history of the country. It was created in 1764 and is considered as one of the most important historic city of the country.
Industrial Tourism
Characterized by the series of basic companies in the modern City of Guayana and the Hydroelectric Dam Raul Leoni, an engineering project of great magnitude located in the Guri.

Adventure Tourism
Reflected upon the enigmatic and serene Gran Sabana Route, placid place where one sleeps outdoor in a tent, under the Sabana's guardians: The Table mountains.

Eco Tourism
Present in Caicara del Orinoco, El Caura and the Gran Sabana. This tourist sites may be visited by any Venezuelan in national prices, through a tourist companies of the zone and under the guidance of the Tourism Coordination of the State of Bolivar.
