Cementos Avellaneda adds between its production plants in Olavarría and San Luis a production capacity of 1,420,000 tons per year of cement and 240,000 tons per year of hydraulic and hydrated lime.
The San Jacinto plant in Olavarría is placed in one of the richest quarries of the country. This is from where the company extracts the raw material to manufacture the normal cement, extra cement, ARS cement, ARS petrol cement, and also hydraulic and hydrated lime, produced by means of an advanced milling and roller press process unique in all Latin America.
 | This plant also produces the Hidralit bricklaying cement and an Impermeable Perfect glue for ceramics, which qualities benefit from the exhaustive uniformity control of its raw materials, carried out by one of the most demanding labs of the country situated in the actual industrial plant.

El Gigante plant, in San Luis province, manufactures El Gigante cement and Hidralit bricklaying cement. This plant has recently benefited from an investment of 35,000,000 dollars to reconvert its productive process from the wet procedure to the dry procedure. This last modification duplicated its installed capacity.
