Our base in Douala provides a comprehensive range of resources and facilities in an area covering 50,000 square meters, with a 200 meter-long and 30-meter wide dock. For all of our activities, we also draw on the extensive experience of our staff that is skilled in a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies.
Our modern computer systems allow us to manage local project engineering, supervision and scheduling tasks with optimum efficiency.
Local construction potential steel-structures |
UIC is able to built all types of steel structures. We have an annual 1,500-metric-ton capacity to build steel structures, representing a potential of production with peaks as high as 40,000 hours a month.
We have a local department for front-end engineering and project supervision required during the prefabrication and construction phases. All of the as built documents are also handled locally.

For large turnkey project, we can draw on the strong resources of our parent company, Bouygues Offshore, a leading international contractor serving the oil and gas industry.

Health, Safety and Quality |
Safety officers are continuously on duty at our base in Douala, and our Quality Assurance coordinator ensures that work is performed in compliance with our requests and contracts requirements, including specifications and procedures.
Bouygues Offshore and its divisions are ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 10006 certified, depending on the nature of the project.
