Architecture

After the independence many buildings have risen all over Tashkent. Among them the building of the Republican Commodity Exchange, the new Khokimat, City Mayor's office, Amir Temur Museum, the government office, Intercontinental, Business-Centre and National Bank, the National Park, the Memorial Complex " The Victims of Repression."
Certainly the most precious and beautiful architectural pieces date back to the Silk Road period; more about this under "Places to Visit".
