When did you have the idea to create the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBiH)?

Denis Prcić (DP): We started the process in 1995 and in 1996 we started to plan with the Rochester Institute of Technology. When I met with Ambassador Clifford Bond in 2005, we decided to partner with the State University of New York (SUNY). In March 2006 we really started to build. Starting in the city of Tuzla, we built up starting with one small class of 20 students. We then opened in Sarajevo and we opened in Banja Luka in Republika Srpska last year.
