GOLF
There is a golf club located on the coast, 30 mn to one
hour drive from the center of Luanda depending on
the traffic. The course is not manicured and is left in its
natural state, similar to traditional links land. Greens
are oiled sand and are well maintained. Views from
the course over the ocean are spectacular.

NAUTICAL ACTIVITIES AND FISHING
Boat rental and fishing is getting popular in Luanda.
You can seek information in Clube Naval and Clube
Naútico (see Business Resources chapter).
Sport fishing is popular and the waters just off the
coast are teeming with many varieties of game fish.
Among the common catches are Dorado, King Fish,
Tuna, Barracuda, Sailfish, and Marlin. Some of the
best fishing in the country is located at the Kwanza
River south of Luanda.
The waters off the coast of Luanda are also excel-
lent, as are the coastal waters further south toward
the border with Namibia.
