Banco de Fomento Angola is the second Angolan
private bank and started its activities in 1990.
Today, the bank has 841.060 clients and 2096 em-
ployees. It is a universal bank with a segmented ap-
proach that has a complete array of typical financial
solutions both for individual and corporate consum-
ers. The main products of BFA are Accounts, Sav-
ings and Credit
Continually expanding the network of branches, in-
vestment centers and corporate centers, reorgan-
izing and consolidating its operational infrastructure
and integrating new distribution channels are consid-
ered to be the main source for the sustained growth
of the bank past years. In addition, the human re-
sources of the BFA are young and qualified.
To accomplish this growth strategy, BFA is heav-
ily investing on its expansion. Today BFA has 145
branches all over the country, of which 87 are lo-
cated in Luanda.
Over the years, BFA has won the following awards:
