Banco BIC SA is an Angolan Bank with private capi-
tal held by national investors and foreign investors,
that started its activities in 2005. It is a modern and

Global Alliance is a Property, Casualty and Life In-
surer of multinational and local corporations in An-
gola and Mozambique.
As a response to the group’s multinational client base
requiring a superior standard of insurance, G+A An-
gola Insurance was formed by the Global Alliance
Holding. In 2005 Global Alliance licensed in the coun-
try with a composite license. It was the first non-gov-
ernment-owned insurance company to have received
a licence in Angola.
G +AAngola offers the following policies to its clients:
Asset insurance policies: asset all risks, car/ engi-
neering, mining, energy, workman’s compensation,
aviation, motor, credit life, funeral benefits, travel
insurance, marine insurance, political unrest and
