CAE ANGOLA started its activities in 2006. It has
offices in Cabinda, Huambo, Soyo and Lobito.
Their mission is to promote the capabilities of small
and medium Angolan enterprises (SME’s) in order
for them to participate actively and with greater suc-
cess in the oil industry, as major suppliers of prod-

ucts and services with quality. CAE ANGOLA pro-
vides these SME‘s with adequate training, technical
assistance and trade opportunities. In addition,
their mission is to create jobs, promote the transfer
of skills and achieve economic growth based on lo-
cal businesses.
CAE ANGOLA was created as a result of various ef-
forts of the main partners (Sonangol, BP, Chevron,
Esso and Total) of the Subgroup for the Industrial
Development and Competitiveness of Costs, in or-
der to support the empowerment of local entrepre-
neurs in the oil industry. The company also provides
support to foreign enterprises that want to enter the
Angolan market.
The support CAE ANGOLA offers to its clients con-
sists of the following aspects:
Training for building capacities and knowledge for
local businesses in order for them to be able to
better compete and win contests in the oil industry.
Technical and administrative assistance to indi-
vidual companies in areas such as quality, busi-
ness planning, contract management and finan-
cial capabilities.
Maintaining a database containing current and
potential suppliers.
Assistance to local companies on legal aspects
and procedures in Angola.
Link with other local initiatives and resources
available in terms of financing, investment and
technology.
