for SGS Angola Lda that leads its activity with a long
term vision. The company has invest (laboratories,
training center and new head office) and provided
hundreds of training sessions to transfer know-how
to local staff. Yet, 50% of the management staff is
Angolan, most of them are being sent in foreign
countries to get additional trainings, more than 70%
of the staff is local, including specialized technicians.
One of the priorities is the Angolanization Plan. All
Expatriates have a Succession Plan to prepare and
train local people to assume higher responsibilities in
the future.
In the short term, SGS will keep focusing in the oil
and gas segment to accompany the development of
Angola. Future projects with innovative and highly
