plans to grow on a slow scale and to increase safely
its turnover and to secure its activity. The boom in
this sector is still to come but it will not be as uncon-
trolled as during the previous years.

Belo Empreendimentos SA is an Angolan company
founded in 2001 which main activity is civil construc-
tion and public works. All projects are based in the
region of Viana, which currently offers the most op-
portunities for construction in terms of space and
development.
Although main clients of the company are public
institutions (namely the Home Office, the General
Command of the National Police and the Ministry
Of Health), the company also operates for private
clients.
The main objective of Belo Empreendimento SA is
to be recognized on the Angolan market by the out-
standing quality of its products and services and by
the high level of professionalism of its employees.
Another strength of the company is a wide range of
good quality products at fair price.
Belo Empreendimentos SA is developing the follow-
ing projects:
- Vila Azul: an urbanization project especially de-
signed for the national police that consists of 500
houses and 18 buildings with various levels of rent.
- A housing project for the Home Office that is com-
prised of 250 houses and 8 buildings with apart-
ments and offices. This project is located in an open
condominium and has a proper infrastructure (struc-
tured roads, water network and a sanitation system).
- Belo Residence: this is one of the latest projects
of Belo Empreendimentos, SA and is expected to
be finished in 2013. In this urbanization project 120
houses and 14 buildings are being constructed along
with an extensive infrastructure.
Furthermore, in collaboration with BESA and BFA,
Belo Empreendimentos SA participates in one of the
biggest social housing projects of Angola that entails
the construction of more than 3000 houses in Viana.
