Internet Platform: Internet Dedicated Access Ser-
vices (Corporate) with connectivity by submarine
cable. We have peering, with 2 different providers
(via SAT3 - Submarine Cable) and one 3rd via satel-
lite (to the USA) for minimizing the effects of the fail
when it occurs.
Multitel have also one connection to IXP for national
traffic changes.

Operational Center: located in Viana, this site (COP)
provides Satellite HUB, satellite NOC, Warehouses,
technical training rooms and an important POP of
the Multitel Network.
Internet VSat: Multitel provide “Internet over VSat”
using Eutelsat W2A satellite with a HUB located in
the Europe and in USA. The HUBs have TIER-3
Internet connectivity. Symmetrical or asymmetrical
connection with a 1:1 or 1:4 contention according
the costumer option are available.
Multitel Network
The Multitel network includes the FWA e WiMax
platforms supported over an SDH redundant ring at
155Mb, the Internet platform have a multi providers
international peering and is complemented by one
VSat platform that permits the national coverage.
The Multitel have also a interconnection by SAT3
(submarine cable) to Portugal who give the possi-
bility of offering a Frame Relay connection for data,
voice or videoconference services between not only
for Portugal but from there to the rest of the world.
