“Angola is a country blessed with enormous natural beauty, exotic fauna and flora symbolised by the Giant
Sable Antelope and Welwitshia Mirabilis. Furthermore, the country has an important river network, allowing
all kind of natutical activities.
Angola is a tropical country with an average annual temperature of 27° C. The large beautiful beaches of
white sand offer perfect conditions to run resort business and leisure activities all year long.
The country is fully interconnected by a network of roads recently rehabilitated and by air, linking the provincial
capitals.
Accomodation capacity has largely improved: numerous hotel units have been raised and restored, some of
them within the highest international standard, ready to welcome the most demanding clients. Socio-cultural
demonstrations and entertainment will mark the memory of any visitor to Angola.
In the last five years, Angola has registered 1,401,117 tourist arrivals at national borders. During this period,
the tourism activities have generated 43,8% of growth in terms of employment.
The sector forecasts to reach 2,6 million visitors by 2015, creating over 7,800 addicional jobs per year.
These figures reflect good perspectives for tourism in Angola. Thus, alongside the many incentives that the
authorities will create to support the national economy, we strongly encourage private investors to bet on the
most promising sector.
