Activity: Angolan institute for the promotion and de-
velopment of tourism.
Public institution with administrative and financial au-
tonomy, Infotur works in collaboration with the Min-
istry of Tourism, which has the power to approve the
activities carried out by the institute.
Infotur is in charge of the following functions:
Monitor the facilities of all the tourist accommodat
ions. In addition, they are in charge of the control
of the licensing of exploitation of new areas that
might be of interest for tourism in Angola.
Monitor all aspects of projects that are being
planned for touristic areas and only approving
those who contribute to the tourism sector.
Monitor the farms that are used as tourist locations.
Contribute to the development of the tourism in-
dustry in Angola.
Act as a mediator for the government in monitoring all
