Atlas Viagens was created in 2004. The agency has
witnessed an exponential growth since its inception
due to the numerous existing clients if its creator.
Atlas Viagens is providing services to embassies
and public and private companies, as well as to the
general public. The company works as much on in-
ternational routes as on national destinations, with
all the major airlines.
One of the numerous services the company provides
its customers with is the handling of all the visa for-
malities for people entering or going out of Angola.
In the very near future, Atlas Viagens will also imple-
ment a service offering transportation to the airport
and the check-in process.
Its connection with the European agency allows
more flexibility than an available to operations based
only in Angola. As a result of its efficient services it
has become the first choice of many companies and
international companies in Angola; in fact, 70% of its
business comes from corporate clients.
With partnerships in Portugal, South Africa and
Brazil, Atlas Viagens is clearly expanding as one of
the main travel agencies in Luanda. In the future it
expects to see an increase in branch offices across
the country, as Angola’s infrastructure continues to
improve.

tique hotel
The group Mangais is composed of two different
companies. The first one, Afro-Jardin, was created
in 1992 and specializes in open spaces and garden-
related activities. It is currently undertaking the con-
struction of an 18-hole golf course. This golf course,
designed by Jorge Santana da Silva (a Portuguese
golf designer, very well known for several projects
built in other countries), will be one of the top inter-
national courses in the world.
Apart from this, Afro-Jardin is also involved in interior
design. It produces its own furniture from local mate-
rials and acts as a design company for major hotels,
restaurants and bars in Luanda.
The company Mangais is involved in real estate con-
struction. Current projects include the construction
of condominiums along the golf course that will offer
exceptional conditions of comfort. With rental and
residential housing, it will offer all-included services.
Mangais is also building a five-star hotel in the Man-
gais area and operating a bungalow complex with a
spa centre.
The company focuses on eco-tourism, that is to say
ecological tourism of quality. The priority of eco-tour-
ism is the focus on the conservation of nature and its
various species.
