Portocargo started its activity as a forwarding agen-
cy in 2005, in partnership with Portocargo Portugal.
This partnership ended at 2009, and from then on,
their services have been:
• Merchandise transportation
• Customs office
• Merchandise delivery at the clients stock.
Their workers are distributed between the airport
and port services and their main clients are Arma-
zens Pedro Regras, Grupo Inter- Espaço and they
are beginning activities with Afriline.
They pretend to give continuity to their activity, find-
ing new clients and strengthening relations with their
actual clients. Portocargo is aware of the growth of
the transport sector, and the fact that Angola is be-
coming more active in exporting, makes Portocargo
willing to deliver their services whenever needed.
In the future Portocargo would like to establish to fol-
lowing procedure regarding its clients: the company
will have meetings with all the clients. The next step
would be to identify the problems the clients are fac-
ing and consequently ask the clients what the best
way would be for Portogargo to help them. The re-
sult following this procedure would be that no client
will be unsatisfied.
