Luanda-4-de-Fevereiro Airport is situated 4km out-
side Luanda. The facilities of the airport include the
following: a restaurant, bar, post office, bureau de
change, 24-hour medical facilities offering a cholera
and yellow fever vaccination service and car rental.
Public phones and bank facilities are also available.
As an alternative to the existing 4-de-Fevereiro Air-
port, a new major airport is currently being built near
the Angolan capital of Luanda, called Angola Inter-
national Airport. It has been under construction since
2008 and is situated some 30–45 km southeast of
the city center in the Bom Jesus commune, Bengo
Province.
