Mayor (Municipality of Tirana)

First of all, you were elected the Mayor of the Year in 2004. Tell us some of your biggest achievements while being the Mayor of Tirana?

It is a long story because I have been in this office since 2000, but basically these have been years of very important and deep changes in the city. From a city that was totally devastated by the anarchy that came with freedom and the absence of state authority in the 90’s, it became the city that we see now.
