Could you tell us briefly about the history of your Company please?

History of the Company makes a part of tragedy. Everything was started by my daughter who died tragically over 3 years ago. Everything started in November 2002 when my daughter died and in December her best friend came to see me and insisted that we should reopen the Agency and continue my daughter’s work. He and all other employees who started the activities together with my daughter asked me to become the CEO of the Company. So from December 2003 we work altogether.

Could you give us basic figures concerning your Company like number of employees, annual turnover…?

We have 4 managers: one manages all kinds of polygraphical issues, another one deals with outdoor advertising, third one is responsible for media planning and contact with media and the last one deals with advertisements printed in newspapers, magazines and journals. Each manager has its own responsibilities.

In December 2000 we had only one advertising company and step by step we grew and developed our activities. In 2002 our annual turnover was about 1 mln laris.

What is the difference between your Company and other ones from advertisement sector?

There are three features that differentiate our Company from others. We have our own designers. In general advertising companies make their customers pay for design and also for corrections. In our company a customer sees a ready made video clip for instance and we don’t charge him neither for design nor for any adjustments if he wishes to have them.

Another one is the advertisement percentage is low because our Company prefers to work with few faithful clients because, and this is the third feature, we work very hard and we struggle for highest quality. And these are the main reasons why our Company is successful.

With what mass media do you work: TV, print, radio?

Yes, we work for all types of media: printed, audio, visual.

What are your future projects?

It is hard to think about the future because the market in Georgia is already saturated part by part. Here everything is done by means of promotion and nepotism. This is Georgian tradition and mentality and in the future it will not change for many years. Media Art has its own place on the market and big and faithful customers like PSP or PLIVA. Our Company has also distribution of well known brands. Next year we will have our own office, this one is being rented. If we have new customers it will be good but I must say that we are very satisfied with what we have now. Because we work for the quality and when our clients receive ready made video clips they like them because of the quality of sound and arts.

In this type of business service is important. What type of service do you bring to your clients?

If a customer comes and wants to launch a new product on the market we start first with designing a strategy. Then we perform a market research with regard a price and target customers. Then we prepare various version of advertisement. If it is a company we design a logo, if a product we prepare a proposal of different advertisements.

What about creativity? How do you create an idea?

We have meetings with all managers. We sit down, make a research about a product and discuss it together.

What is the situation of the sector nowadays?

In 2005 there were 53 advertising companies in Georgia out of which 5 were successful and we are amongst those successful ones.

You have put a lot of efforts to continue the activities of your Company. What has been your biggest satisfaction?

This Company is a part of my daughter and I continue her work. We have our proper place on the market and the future. And despite difficult experience that life brought her she is proud of her involvement in the Company and believes that her daughter would be proud of herself too.
