Prof. Dr. Ir. Yogi Sugito is a rector with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Not only is he the rector of one of the best universities in Indonesia but at he also runs three private businesses. His Ph.D. dissertation was on the production of ethanol from cassava. Together with members of the Faculty of Agriculture UB, biomass energy is now being developed in collaboration with the IDRC, Canada. He believes that the university should produce job creators, not merely employees.
